On October 13th, 1997, a mushroom hunter discovered human bones in a wooded area along Gale Creek Rd. In the Wilkeson area. Investigators have determined that the bones belonged to a woman approximately 30 to 50 years old, likely 5'2" to 5'4" tall, with a slender build and blonde hair. The remains were found with a Pacific Lutheran University sweatshirt, women's size 5 shoes, and women's size 7 pants.
