On august 5, 2013, at approximately 3:48 a.M., a call was received for shots fired in the 1700 block of north 22nd street. Police units soon arrived to the area of north 22nd and w streets where an officer found a male in the middle of the street. The victim, later identified as lesean cosby, was not conscious or breathing and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He later succumbed to his injuries at vcu medical center.Officers were told at the time of the murder, a dark-colored 4-door sedan approached cosby on north 22nd street. Two individuals exited the vehicle, shot cosby and quickly fled the scene. Police don’t believe the suspects were known to the victim.Agency

Shortly after midnight on november 29, 2002 jermaine johnson was standing with a group of males in the 3400 block of maury street. A small car pulled into a lot not far from where the group was standing and the occupants of that car fired at them. Jermaine johnson was shot in his right shoulder and his left lower leg. Around 2:00 a.M. On the morning of june 26, 2000 john jordan was taking a friend home. He drove his dark green dodge neon through gilpin court and stopped at the stop sign at st. John and hill streets. There he was confronted by several suspects in a dark colored car who fired several shots into john's car. John was hit and was taken to mcv hospital by a passenger in his car.
