Javier medina was shot and killed on bendixon drive in west valley on 12/12/2016. He was working on a vehicle with a female associate when one or two men pulled up and began shooting at him. Javier was struck multiple times and the female associate was struck twice. Javier would intimately die from his wounds and the female survived. Little is known about the suspect or suspects in this case and the case is currently being investigated. Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to come forward and contact police.

Johanna, age 17, was a recent olympus high school graduate. She was last seen in the area of 2100 south and state street at an area referred to as “the complex” by witnesses in the late hours of august 20, 1971. Acquaintances saw her in a car in the area around the same time with two males and an unknown number of individuals. Her car, a chrysler, was found on westminster ave. Between state street and 200 e. In the early morning hours following her disappearance. Her nude body was discovered by fishermen on august 21, 1971. It was located in a canal approximately half a mile west of the west stock bridge on the goggin’s drain, by saltaire. She had been assaulted and died as a result of gunshot and stab wounds.

The male ran from the scene and possibly entered a white pick up truck. No one was ever located in the area. Jose would be flown to a regional hospital and succumb to his woulds. Lisa redmond was a pizza hut delivery driver in 1996. On 12/9/1996 she was found deceased on the side of the road at approximately 5200 w 3100 s. She was wearing her pizza hut uniform and when the business was contacted they confirmed that she was one of their drivers that had not returned from her deliveries. Further investigation showed that lisa was in a struggle with someone inside her truck, cut possibly with a knife and ultimately ran over by her own vehicle. Lisa’s truck was found in the following days and the suspect was never located. We are looking for anyone that may have knowledge of this case to help out.

Michelle, age 28, was the mother to a young son living in the cottonwood heights area at the time of her death. Her son was staying with grandparents on the night of the arson/murder. In the early morning hours of february 22, 1990 at approximately 2:00am that morning michelle’s home at 7192 s. Highland drive became engulfed in flames. Neighbors heard her screaming and tried to offer assistance but were unable to do so due to the intensity of the fire. Michelle died as a result of smoke inhalation. Arson was determined to be the cause of the fire.

On 11/12/2021 the west valley city police department responded to an address on a reported woman held against her will for numerous days. The woman was able to escape capture after 11 days of captivity. The suspect, barricaded himself and shot several times at officers. Eventually the suspect was taken into custody. After interviewing the captured victim it was reported an elderly female, maren carlson, was brutally murdered and her body was dumped somewhere. Through the investigation evidence was collected that corroborated the witness claim that maren was brutally murdered at the scene and her body has not been discovered.

The boat was equipped with two motors: one at the back and one on the side. Witnesses said both motors were going, and the boat was swinging in circles before it overturned. Two people were rescued, but calvin wayne bosen, his wife ruby mae (simons) bosen, and her brother clarence simons were presumed drowned. Depths at that part of the lake were about 115 to 125 feet deep. Despite a large search operation and searches two years later, their bodies were never recovered.”

On march 24, 2022, yojaira perez chun (dob 10/23/2005) was reported as a runaway with the west valley city police department. Yojaira is from guatemala and came to the states to live with a distant family member. Yojaira was only in the united states for approximately one week before leaving her living arrangements and blocking her distant family member on all social media and her phone. Yojaira was reported to have run away with a potential cousin, mario. Mario has not been confirmed as a cousin. Mario was contacted and became immediately defensive saying “I did not kidnap her”. This statement is very suspicious in nature and gives some concerns about yojaira’s safety. Yojaira has not been located or heard from since the reported incident. It is possible yojaira may have been spotted in minnesota with a boyfriend or an unknown male. Yojaira has a young daughter (approximately 2-3 yrs old) as well. 1/30/1995 bahe was 19 years old when his body was discovered on january 30th, 1995 inside the utah state hospital in provo, utah. He was found to have died from a blunt force injury to his abdomen that resulted in a lacerated liver. He was a patient there undergoing psychiatric evaluation after he was found incompetent to proceed on aggravated assault charges. He was accused of stabbing another patient in november of 1994. His death is being investigated as a homicide but no charges or suspects have been brought forward in his case. In 1995 investigators narrowed their suspects down to one patient, but this person has never been named. Police cited difficulties around the mental health of the other patients and witnesses in investigating this case. Bahe’s murder remains unsolved.

On saturday night september 5, 2015, fred mustain was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the torso near a new home under construction at 527 e vine street in murray, ut. Mustain was transported to a local hospital and later dies from his wounds. There is no known connection to the construction site with musain. There were no known witnesses to the shooting. It was called in by a bicyclist who heard mustain calling for help. Mustain had some known gang affiliations.
