On december 11th 2007, marwan m. Saeed and two accomplices forced their way into the fulshear home of 54-year-old martha fields. The suspects mistakenly believed there was a safe, in the home which contained $50,0000 in cash. The suspects zip tied martha fields to the refrigerator and then ransacked the home in a futile effort to locate the safe. When one of the suspects called saeed by his name saeed feared martha overheard him and could then identify him. Saeed then stabbed martha 19 times and left her for dead. Martha was able to free herself and call 911. She died in the hospital three days later. Saeed’s accomplices were arrested and are currently serving long prison sentences for their participation in the murder. Saeed fled the state and has not been located. An arrest warrant, for capital murder has been issued. Saeed is a native of yemen. He has extensive family and friends, in the united states with ties to michigan, louisiana and new york.Agency

Missouri city, texas (ktrk) -- for 34 years, the 1987 murder case of kenneth ray glover has gone unsolved, but now texas dps is sharing exclusive details and crime scene photos with eyewitness news. Glover was a welder in missouri city. He and his wife, who were expecting their first child, lived on wood shadows drive off cartwright road, a fairly new development at the time. In the middle of the day on april 28, the young father-to-be was on the second floor of his home playing pool, according to crime scene photos. Detectives said there was a fight and someone shot glover. Blood splattered against the wall and the brown felt pool table. The glass stereo stand was left shattered. Police said the 22-year-old jumped out of the second story window and ran for his life. But the shooter didn't let him get away. Glover was shot a fourth and a fifth time before collapsing across the street on his neighbor's front yard. That neighbor called 911. At the time, witnesses told investigators someone drove off in a pink or peach-colored 1978 or 1979 cadillac. "In the last couple of weeks, they (detectives) have really been looking to try and get information out to solve this case because they believe it's solvable," said lt. Craig cummings with dps. As the years have gone by, witnesses in this case have died, making it difficult for detectives to drum up new information. Now the evidence collected from the scene more than three decades ago is coming out of the box and getting retested in hopes that the killer's dna might be found. Glover's bloody clothing, a pool cue stick, a wine bottle and unidentified teeth from the scene just went back to the dps crime lab. Dps reached out to abc13 for publicity on the case because of the "13 unsolved" series that profiles cold cases. "We were looking for someone that has an audience that follows what you do," cummings told abc13 reporter courtney fischer. "If someone has an interest in cold cases, that's more people who can talk about what investigators are doing." glover's son would be a grown man now. He never met his father because someone took that from him. This is what investigators say is pushing them to continue working glover's case. "His family still lives with the burden of knowing that killer may be out there," said cummings.Agency

Missouri city, texas (ktrk) -- detectives say the boyfriend of a woman, who was found shot to death in a darkened field in missouri city, was also found dead shortly after his girlfriend's body was located. Missouri city police revealed the couple was seen alive monday evening, before 29-year-old rachel delarosa's body was found tuesday night in the 4200 block of north creekmont. Her body had no signs of assault or struggle, according to detectives. In a news conference this afternoon, police showed surveillance camera footage of the woman and her boyfriend, robert cerda, together at madco food store, located at 7440 long point rd., on monday night. According to det. Andrew robb, of missouri city police, investigators immediately searched for the whereabouts of the woman's boyfriend. Instead, cerda's body was located also on tuesday night in northeast houston just off bleker street. They said there was an indication of foul play with his body. Law enforcement is trying to figure out how both ended up dead so close in time to each other but quite far apart. Missouri city and houston police departments are looking to the public for help in bringing closure to the victims' families.Agency
