Sheets was reported to be driving to colorado from salt lake city at the time his body was discovered. Sheets died as a result of several gunshot wounds to his body at the time, sheets was traveling in his green, 1975 ford ltd wagon. This vehicle has never been located.

Marty shook, a 21 year old white male, left sparks nevada on june 12, 1982 sometime in the afternoon. Shook told family members he was going to colorado to look for work and that he would be hitch hiking. Shook was an accomplished hitcher and would travel the same route exclusively. Nothing is known of the victims activities from the time he left the reno area until his body was found in wasatch county, utah on june 14, 1982. On june 14, 1982 wasatch county received a call regarding a possible homicide/dead body discovered near daniels creek on hwy 40. The body was located by a fisherman . Wasatch county deputies responded to where the body was located. At the scene the body of a white male adult was located on the south side of u.S. 40, within three feet of daniels creek. The body was found nude, lying on his back, with his knees pulled slightly up, as if he had been picked up and dropped into the willows at the edge of the creek. The male had shoulder length auburn hair, a thin scraggly beard and mustache. There was a fair amount of blood on the head and face of the victim. The male subject had identifying tattoos: a black spider on a red back ground located above his left breast and a lightning bolt with the word “crash” inscribed through it located on his upper arm. Upon moving the body it was discovered that the subject had been castrated. Genitalia was completely absent. Autopsy reports states the male dies of a single gunshot wound to the back of the head, behind the left ear from a .38 caliber weapon. Castration was done post mortem. It is believed the body was dumped after death so an additional crime scene is possible. The victim left nevada with his personal belongings in a back pack that he carried, along with a bed roll and the clothes he was wearing. No idea how much if any money he was carrying. None of the victims belongs were recovered.

On 11/12/2021 the west valley city police department responded to an address on a reported woman held against her will for numerous days. The woman was able to escape capture after 11 days of captivity. The suspect, barricaded himself and shot several times at officers. Eventually the suspect was taken into custody. After interviewing the captured victim it was reported an elderly female, maren carlson, was brutally murdered and her body was dumped somewhere. Through the investigation evidence was collected that corroborated the witness claim that maren was brutally murdered at the scene and her body has not been discovered.

At about 3 p.M. On july 29, 1955, a small aluminum boat containing five people capsized on moon lake, duchesne county, while their trawling gear got caught in the motor. The boat was equipped with two motors: one at the back and one on the side. Witnesses said both motors were going, and the boat was swinging in circles before it overturned. Two people were rescued, but calvin wayne bosen, his wife ruby mae (simons) bosen, and her brother clarence simons were presumed drowned. Depths at that part of the lake were about 115 to 125 feet deep. Despite a large search operation and searches two years later, their bodies were never recovered.”

On march 24, 2022, yojaira perez chun (dob 10/23/2005) was reported as a runaway with the west valley city police department. Yojaira is from guatemala and came to the states to live with a distant family member. Yojaira was only in the united states for approximately one week before leaving her living arrangements and blocking her distant family member on all social media and her phone. Yojaira was reported to have run away with a potential cousin, mario. Mario has not been confirmed as a cousin. Mario was contacted and became immediately defensive saying “I did not kidnap her”. This statement is very suspicious in nature and gives some concerns about yojaira’s safety. Yojaira has not been located or heard from since the reported incident. It is possible yojaira may have been spotted in minnesota with a boyfriend or an unknown male. Yojaira has a young daughter (approximately 2-3 yrs old) as well. On february 11, 1988, ogden resident albert william spatz reported he was robbed on the sidewalk in front of 2450 monroe boulevard, ogden, utah. Albert told officers he had gotten off a bus at 25th street and monroe and was walking north on the east side of the street. Albert said he saw the suspect running at him from the “alley by the holly rue apartments.”albert said the suspect demanded, “give me your money.” when albert told the suspect he had no money the suspect “knocked” him to the ground rendering him unconscious and causing him to strike his head on the cement. After knocking albert out, the suspect stole his wallet containing $20 and fled back through the alley. Albert went to 803 24th street where he called police. Officers documented albert’s injuries, “a golf ball sized” lump on the upper right side of his head, a swollen right cheekbone, and a laceration on the inside of his mouth. Albert was transported by medical units to mckay-dee hospital.Albert described the suspect as a black male, 5’10, 150 pounds, with short hair. Albert did not recall seeing facial hair but said the suspect was wearing a black coat and tan pants.Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Follow-up investigators learned albert had been released from the hospital to a friend, who gave him a ride. In the morning albert’s son, alan spatz was unable to wake him and took him to the hospital where he immediately was taken into surgery to drain blood from his brain and his head.After surgery, albert was placed in intensive care and never regained consciousness. On may 6, 1988, albert spatz died. An autopsy concluded albert died of complications of blunt head injury.

The north side of the street is lined with single family homes, the south side of the street is the I-80 freeway. The victim was found on the sidewalk in front of 930 west.Anivar canals, a 36 year old male hispanic. He was was working in salt lake city at a warehouse. He lived at 264 south foss street #12.The complainant heard an argument in front of her home at 01:40.. She looked out and saw anivar canals lying on the sidewalk. There were 3 male hispanic men nearby. Two were standing over anivar, the third was leaning up against a tree in the front yard. There was a yellow car parked in front of her house that apparently with the three hispanic men. The complainant went to her phone to call police when she looked out again, the yellow car and the three men were gone. During the argument, the complainant thought she heard the hispanic equivalent name for “dale” spoken by the suspects. Investigation information stated the yellow car may have been seen at the “la diana” at 927 west folsom. The victim was taken to lds hospital where he died.

He had lived in salt lake city for three months. He was reported to be selling heroin at the rio grande homeless shelter. He was also reported to be shorting people on their drugs and robbing people on the street.Two women walking in the park discovered his body. Police responded and canvassed the area. A neighbor witness reported hearing a gun shot at 14:45. The victim was reported to be stealing from people he stayed with and did drug sales with .

1/30/1995 bahe was 19 years old when his body was discovered on january 30th, 1995 inside the utah state hospital in provo, utah. He was found to have died from a blunt force injury to his abdomen that resulted in a lacerated liver. He was a patient there undergoing psychiatric evaluation after he was found incompetent to proceed on aggravated assault charges. He was accused of stabbing another patient in november of 1994. His death is being investigated as a homicide but no charges or suspects have been brought forward in his case. In 1995 investigators narrowed their suspects down to one patient, but this person has never been named. Police cited difficulties around the mental health of the other patients and witnesses in investigating this case. Bahe’s murder remains unsolved.

Bertha, age 81, was last seen looking out her living room window of her home located at 3402 s. 500 e. At approximately 6:30pm on march 17, 1982. This was something she reportedly enjoyed doing. In the early morning hours of march 18, 1982 neighbors describe hearing yelling and commotion coming from bertha’s home. Different witness accounts describe suspicious activity around the house that night. A visiting nurse found bertha’s body later that morning. She had been assaulted and died of multiple blunt force trauma wounds. Bertha’s home showed signs of forced entry and it appears she struggled with her assailant(s).
