On tuesday, february 9 , 1988, 78-year-old edward gholson was found deceased inside his home located in milledgeville, baldwin county, georgia. The georgia bureau of investigation and the toccoa police department are investigating the murder of anthony dogan, age 35. On saturday, january 26th, at approximately 5:05pm, the toccoa police department conducted a welfare check on anthony dogan. Dogan resided in an apartment complex located at 305 south pond street in toccoa, georgia.During the welfare check, toccoa police found dogan deceased. After conducting an autopsy, it was determined that dogan’s death was a homicide. It is possible that dogan was also robbed. Witnesses claim to have heard a single gunshot from the apartment occupied by dogan sometime during the early morning hours of january 26th, 2002.
