The alamosa police department is investigating the disappearance of 21-year old angelica sandoval, of alamosa, colorado. On 2/23/2011 at approximately 2348 hours, officers from the alamosa police department responded to 715 13th street in reference to a missing person report. Through investigation and statements made by friends and family members, officers determined that ms. Sandoval arrived home from doing laundry at approximately 2150 hours. She took a load of items into her residence, went back outside to finish unloading her vehicle, and did not return. She has not been seen or heard from since. On february 14, 2007 casey berry was last seen at approximately 9:00 am leaving his residence with a friend, duane kulakofsky. Berry usually wore worn jeans, a t-shirt with a flannel shirt over it, and a beanie or beret. He often wore a beaded hemp necklace. Berry was driving a smaller blue or brown mazda pick-up. He was traveling to taos, new mexico to look for work. The vehicle has not been recovered. On march 26, 2014, jacqueline amber jones was found dead as a home in monte vista. The boyfriend reports that she hung herself. Upon police arrival the victim was found on the floor, not hanging. The witness reports the victim hung herself with an extension cord from the closet door. Outside experts were hired to review the available evidence. Upon completion of that review the coroner modified the cause and manner of death to undetermined instead of suicide. Investigation into this case continues.
