Cold case spotlight curtis williamson, 16, and his cousin were chased into the mission bay water after a fight, involving 10 to 20 boys, broke out in a parking lot at crown point shores in san diego, california on march 26, 1997. Curtis is believed to have drowned while swimming from one anchored buoy to another after the individuals that chased him into the water began swimming after him. On february 1, 2004, at about 3:00 a.M., the above victims, maria (mother) and carmen (daughter) hernandez, were walking from their home in newark to maria's place of business. While walking on thornton ave in fremont, an unknown suspect began following behind the victims. The eventually began to chase the victims and caught up to them near the intersection of alameda dr and contra costa ave. The suspect bludgeoned both victims to death with a large tree branch. The branch was likely a weapon of opportunity and was possibly available due to the trees in the neighborhood being recently pruned and cut down. The suspect was seen throwing the murder weapon on top of the victims and he was last seen running northbound on contra costa ave.Agency

On saturday, july 25, 2015, at approximately 11:16 p.M., san jose police officers responded to the 1300 block of sunbeam circle on a person shot. Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was talking with other people on the driveway of a residence. A light colored compact vehicle pulled up next to them. The passenger, suspect #1, exited the vehicle, asked the victim if he was in a gang. The victim denied being in a gang and the suspect shot the victim. The suspect got back in the vehicle and fled the scene with suspect #2 driving. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died a short time later. Almost 33 years ago on september 21, 1991, riverside police officers and paramedics responded to 4270 market street in downtown riverside for an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Michael anthony soto was found with massive head trauma and evidence showed he was beaten and robbed. Despite lifesaving efforts, michael died from his injuries several days later. He was 35-years-old at the time and a valued employee at the produce market where he was attacked. Michael had served in the military and was a father to a teenage son. The attack was reported by someone who called 911 from a nearby payphone, but this caller refused to identify himself and was never located. Investigators believe the caller and others have information about michaels death.Agency
