Emmett farnsworth went missing from price, ut on july 6, 1967. His sister reported that her brother was in price on july 4, 1967 and left for duchesne county where he had been living in a trailer. He was a construction worker by trade. Report was received that mr. Farnsworth’s car had been found burned near waldon, co with license plates and registration identification removed.A sheepherder reported finding a body about five miles north of granby, co. The sheepherder was unfamiliar with the country and has not been able to lead officers back to where he had seen the body. Authorities said the body might be that of emerson farnsworth, of duchesne, ut missing since july 6, 1967.

Jesse glen pinegar flew to hawaii from his home in orem, utah for a vacation in january 2008. He hiked into the kalalau valley and set up a campsite five miles from the trailhead. He stayed in contact with his family by cellular phone. His family last heard from him on march 24, 2008. He told them he was going to take one last hike before coming back home to attend a family event. He has never been seen again. After his disappearance, another hiker found pinegar’s campsite abandoned with all his personal belongings, including his clothing, camping equipment and ipod, only his wallet, cellular phone and backpack were missing. His case remains unsolved.

On 11/12/2021 the west valley city police department responded to an address on a reported woman held against her will for numerous days. The woman was able to escape capture after 11 days of captivity. The suspect, barricaded himself and shot several times at officers. Eventually the suspect was taken into custody. After interviewing the captured victim it was reported an elderly female, maren carlson, was brutally murdered and her body was dumped somewhere. Through the investigation evidence was collected that corroborated the witness claim that maren was brutally murdered at the scene and her body has not been discovered.

At about 3 p.M. On july 29, 1955, a small aluminum boat containing five people capsized on moon lake, duchesne county, while their trawling gear got caught in the motor. The boat was equipped with two motors: one at the back and one on the side. Witnesses said both motors were going, and the boat was swinging in circles before it overturned. Two people were rescued, but calvin wayne bosen, his wife ruby mae (simons) bosen, and her brother clarence simons were presumed drowned. Depths at that part of the lake were about 115 to 125 feet deep. Despite a large search operation and searches two years later, their bodies were never recovered.”

On march 24, 2022, yojaira perez chun (dob 10/23/2005) was reported as a runaway with the west valley city police department. Yojaira is from guatemala and came to the states to live with a distant family member. Yojaira was only in the united states for approximately one week before leaving her living arrangements and blocking her distant family member on all social media and her phone. Yojaira was reported to have run away with a potential cousin, mario. Mario has not been confirmed as a cousin. Mario was contacted and became immediately defensive saying “I did not kidnap her”. This statement is very suspicious in nature and gives some concerns about yojaira’s safety. Yojaira has not been located or heard from since the reported incident. It is possible yojaira may have been spotted in minnesota with a boyfriend or an unknown male. Yojaira has a young daughter (approximately 2-3 yrs old) as well. 1/30/1995 bahe was 19 years old when his body was discovered on january 30th, 1995 inside the utah state hospital in provo, utah. He was found to have died from a blunt force injury to his abdomen that resulted in a lacerated liver. He was a patient there undergoing psychiatric evaluation after he was found incompetent to proceed on aggravated assault charges. He was accused of stabbing another patient in november of 1994. His death is being investigated as a homicide but no charges or suspects have been brought forward in his case. In 1995 investigators narrowed their suspects down to one patient, but this person has never been named. Police cited difficulties around the mental health of the other patients and witnesses in investigating this case. Bahe’s murder remains unsolved.
