The store owner christobal delgado, a 53 year old, was killed during the robbery. The suspects were described as a hispanic male, 20's, 5'10", 145 pounds with a stocking over his face. The other suspect was described as a white male, 20's 5'7", 135 pounds with a white bandana over his face. Both suspects had pistols. Both suspects fired their weapons. The hispanic male hit delgado killing him. The dry cleaning store in the area was robbed two days earlier by subjects matching the same description. On wednesday august 15, 2012 at about 11:00 am, several people utilizing the santa fe trail running along the east side of fountain creek, south of the cimarron bridge, found a body lying near the wooden pedestrian bridge over fountain creek. The victim had sustained multiple stab wounds, and was likely attacked where he was found. Victim was a transient with a campsite along the same trail, about 3/4 of a mile away. A blue bicycle and a dog found nearby were believed to belong to the victim. Witnesses who had been in the area less than thirty (30) minutes earlier reported that the victim was not there at that time.
